One of the first things that you will learn in sales training is to ask for the order of your customers. Don't just assume that they want to buy your product or that they know that you sell the product, specifically ask them to buy your product. Many websites are good about providing information about thier product, which is a good thing, people want to know more about what they are buying. However, sometimes sites forget to specifically ask for the product, assuming that the user will buy it if they want to. Many times users come to your site from a search engine and don't even know the name of the company, because they have not been to the home page. In these cases they also might not know that you sell the product that they are reading about because the only link to it is fromt he home page. When this happens the user will get thier information and go somewhere else to buy it, not realizing that you sell that same product.

To solve this problem you need to be aware of the fact that the user might not have been to the home page and might not realize the name of your company or if you sell anything. A simple way to solve this problem is to invite the user to order your product. Every seperate page should have an option to order or a link to a page that does, this will make it so that users coming from a search engine to random pages in your site will have access to and knowledge of your product and order info. This information should also be in a visible spot, many times sites have this information but the user doesn't see it and doesn't know where to find it at. Even though you should make this information widely accessible, you should not overdo it. Too much talk about selling your product might scare your customer away.
