Bruce James is the Public Printer for the United States. He talked to us a little about his job and explained what he does. He talked about the Federal Depositor Libraries and how there are many of them all over the United States. He explained that any Federal Document needs to be copyrighted and sent to each of thes libraries to give every citezen the right to view these documents. He also talked about how in this day and age it is common put information like this on the internet to make it available for every one. The problem with this is that anybody with a computer can put whatever they want on the internet, so it is a question of how to authenticate this documents so that everyone has access to them and also knows that they are authentic documents. He also talked to us a little about being an entrepreneur and how we have to be willing to take risks.
